Judy Massey is the author of Boomerangst: Coping with the Angst of Aging with Wit, Wisdom and Humor. A baby boomer herself, she is a freelance writer, marketing consultant and former marketing executive at a number of consumer publications who began to speak on behalf of her generation in 1996, when the first boomers turned 50.

Massey was President of The Boomerang Group, marketing communication services with an emphasis on baby boomers. She has participated as a panelist and speaker at a number of media marketing conferences, and served as a judge for the Effie Awards and The New York Festivals AME International Awards for marketing effectiveness in multinational campaigns. She was a guest lecturer on CompuServe’s PR&MKTG Forum and conducted a week-long seminar on marketing to the baby boomer audience. In 1997, she was the publisher of Boomerang, a newsletter for, by and about baby boomers. She was an editorial reviewer for the health and fitness sections of Living Well: A Guide to Healthy Aging video series for PBS. Her articles and advertorials have appeared in Family Circle, Self, Working Woman, Glamour, USA Today, Saveur and Walking. Massey resides in Long Beach, NY, where she attempts to keep her angst in check with long walks on the beach with Mr. Darcy, her handsome border collie... and the occasional martini.
